About the Role
This position serves as a critical guardian of patient privacy and data integrity within our Release of Information (ROI) operations. You will be responsible for processing all release requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that every interaction reflects the highest standards of accuracy and customer service.
In this role, you will safeguard the patient's right to privacy by strictly ensuring that only authorized individuals access medical information. Your work ensures that all releases comply with specific requests, authorizations, company policies, and HIPAA regulations. You will act as a proactive partner to our clients, handling incoming inquiries, validating documentation, and managing the secure retrieval, scanning, and transmission of medical records. Beyond technical processing, you will maintain a professional environment and uphold the ethical standards required when handling privileged health information.
