About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and safe material handling within the facility. Approximately 90% of your time will be spent operating a sit-down forklift to move materials, including pallets with multiple units, and pushing carts of products. The remaining 10% involves engaging in lifting and labor tasks, such as moving materials around the facility and performing other duties like machine operating as requested.
The role requires a high level of attention to detail, initiative, and commitment. You will work in a fast-paced production facility, interpreting work instructions and completing necessary paperwork while maintaining strict safety protocols. Expect to stand on your feet for 8-10 hour shifts in a climate-controlled environment, lifting items over your head and carrying loads of 30+ lbs repeatedly.
