The Special Events CDL Driver Technician is a vital member of our Portable Restroom department, serving as the bridge between our yard operations and the customer experience at events. This role goes beyond simply driving; it is about ensuring that every event runs smoothly by delivering, setting up, and maintaining high-quality sanitation equipment. You will be the face of our company on-site, responsible for the safe transport of commercial-grade vehicles and trailers, as well as the hands-on setup and troubleshooting required to keep our customers satisfied.
In this position, you will operate a diverse fleet of company vehicles and trailers, navigating various job sites to deliver and position restroom trailers. Your day involves a blend of technical skill and customer service: you will connect utilities, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure all equipment is fastened and functioning correctly. Whether you are stocking supplies, performing basic mechanical repairs on-site, or coordinating with the Yard Supervisor, your attention to detail and safety mindset are crucial to our mission of providing a clean, safe, and reliable environment for our clients.
We are committed to a workplace built on integrity, respect, and safety. Our core values guide every action we take:
We maintain a drug-free and alcohol-free work environment and prioritize the well-being of our team through rigorous safety protocols and protective gear.
To join our team, candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and have a minimum of two years of safe driving experience. We look for individuals with basic mechanical repair skills, the ability to troubleshoot sanitation equipment, and strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
If you are ready to take on a dynamic role where your driving skills and mechanical aptitude make a direct impact on our customers' events, we encourage you to apply. Please note that basic Spanish skills are a plus, and we are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
