The Forensic & Litigation Services (FLS) Director will serve as a pivotal leader within our Matrimonial & Business Disputes department in Austin. This role is designed to direct, administer, and coordinate client assignments while ensuring that business strategies and tactics are effectively implemented. You will work closely with team members and outside counsel to achieve a high level of client service.
In this position, you will manage forensic accounting, litigation support, and valuation engagements. Your day-to-day involves identifying complex issues, communicating strategic direction to Managing Directors, and delivering comprehensive reports ready for attorney and client review. You will also play a key role in preparing testifying experts for depositions and trials, ensuring files are meticulously organized and developing outlines for testimony and demonstrative exhibits.
Beyond client work, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading departmental training for associates, reviewing staff work, and assisting in recruiting and professional development. This is a fully on-site role based in Austin, operating Monday through Friday with a standard schedule that may include overtime as needed.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or consulting, culminating in a leadership role. A CPA license or advanced degree is preferred. If you possess a broad background in litigation support, strong project management skills, and a desire to lead teams, we encourage you to apply.
