As part of the Risk team at Grant Thornton, you will be empowered to help clients make the strategic moves that bring their visions to life. Our team operates at the intersection of complex construction projects and rigorous advisory services, serving a diverse portfolio of clients across the data center, energy, infrastructure, commercial real estate, and hospitality sectors. We are a fast-paced, results-driven environment where collaboration across service lines and international colleagues is key to delivering high-impact solutions.
The Real Estate/Construction Advisory Manager is a pivotal role responsible for leading all phases of project and engagement management for a dedicated group of clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding organizations through large-scale, complex construction initiatives while ensuring compliance, identifying cost savings, and mitigating risk. From day one, you will be expected to manage engagements from start to finish, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery while mentoring and developing staff.
Your day-to-day involves a blend of deep technical analysis and strategic client partnership. You will review construction contracts, financial statements, and job cost reports to uncover process inefficiencies and strategic opportunities. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to coordinating with multiple stakeholders to strengthen project control environments and analyzing complex financial data to identify trends and anomalies. You will also play a critical role in addressing matters involving fraud, waste, and abuse, ensuring clients navigate regulatory landscapes with confidence.
Beyond technical execution, this role is a catalyst for business growth. You will actively participate in recruiting top talent, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with Senior Managers and Partners to resolve client challenges. Your ability to communicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders will be essential in driving value and maintaining outstanding client relationships.
Candidates selected for this role may be asked to complete a skills assessment as part of the recruiting process. The interview journey is designed to evaluate both technical expertise and cultural fit within our dynamic team.
Grant Thornton is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
