About the Role
The Manager role in the Investigations team within Financial Investigations & Dispute Services (FIDS) serves as a key member of our practice. You will take responsibility for leading analytical, compliance, and investigative services for a diverse portfolio of clients, including law firms, corporations, and state and local government entities. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupport counsel in litigation and expert witness engagements including damages calculations and document requests
- check_circleManage engagement scope, budget, and timelines while proactively communicating changes to leadership
- check_circleMaintain organized files and workpapers while complying with firm risk and security processes
- check_circleOwn engagement delivery by providing technical direction and ensuring quality client-ready deliverables
- check_circleContribute to proposals and business development activities such as CLE presentations and white papers
- check_circleLead teams investigating fraud, misconduct, bribery, corruption, and electronic evidence reviews
- check_circleMonitor leverage models to improve margins through active resource planning and delegation
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum B.S. / B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance
- verified5+ years of experience in litigation support, investigation, or forensic accounting
- verifiedCPA or other relevant certification
- verifiedProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- verifiedKnowledge of Alteryx, PowerBI, or other accounting tools
- verifiedCFE or CFF certifications preferred
- verifiedDatabase experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft Access
- verifiedExperience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI
- verifiedExperience coding in R, Python, or SAS
Nice to Have
Master's degree. CFE or CFF certifications. Experience at a 'Big 4' or national consulting firm. Proficiency in advanced analytics techniques and programs, including database querying and coding in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Access, experience with data blending, cleansing, and analytic tools such as Alteryx, experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, and Visio, and knowledge or experience coding using R, Python, and SAS.
