About the Role

The Food Service Worker plays a vital role in supporting the manager to ensure high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety. This position is essential for maintaining the operational flow of meal preparation and service. You will assist in preparing quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu, ensuring that every item meets customer expectations for taste and presentation. Your day will involve coordinating with the manager to understand daily menus, verifying transactions through daily reports, and ensuring food is stored and served accurately and in a sanitary manner.

In this role, you will be the face of our service, serving food according to meal schedules and department policies while adding the final touches that ensure customer happiness. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, from scrubbing counters and sanitizing steam tables to managing garbage collection sites. The role requires the ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure, ensuring that food temperatures are supervised and all safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
