About the Role
The Food Service Worker plays a vital role in supporting the manager to ensure high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety. This position is essential for maintaining the operational flow of meal preparation and service, ensuring that every guest receives a safe and satisfying dining experience. You will work closely with the team to prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu, coordinate with the manager daily to understand the day's offerings, and ensure accurate storage and handling of all food items.
The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, from scrubbing counters and sanitizing steam tables to managing garbage collection sites. You will be responsible for serving food according to established schedules and policies, ensuring customer happiness through attention to detail and eye appeal. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will also assist in major cleaning efforts and adhere to all food safety regulations.
