The position involves a comprehensive cycle of closing duties, including the proper storage of reusable goods, breakdown of items, and thorough cleaning of all equipment and work areas. Team members are responsible for ensuring that china, glass, and silver are inspected for cleanliness and presentation prior to use, while adhering to "clean-as-you-go" procedures throughout the shift.
Beyond operational tasks, this role requires strict adherence to company safety and security policies. Associates must report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately and complete all necessary safety training. The position demands a professional appearance and demeanor, including the protection of proprietary information and the maintenance of confidentiality. Team members serve as the face of the company by welcoming guests according to established standards, communicating with clarity and professionalism, and fostering positive working relationships to support common team goals.
The physical nature of the role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as moving, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds. Associates must be capable of navigating sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, stairs, and service ramps, while performing tasks that require fine motor skills, bending, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees. The ability to visually verify information in various formats, including small print, is essential.
Candidates with a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent are preferred. No prior related work experience or supervisory experience is required, making this an accessible entry point for new team members. No specific licenses or certifications are necessary to begin.
