Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSchedule kitchen staff efficiently to maintain standard labor costs and production goals
- check_circleCollaborate with Front of House to ensure seamless service flow and address guest feedback
- check_circleConduct regular tastings to ensure consistency with recipes and quality standards
- check_circleManage employment decisions including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating hourly staff
- check_circleControl food, beverage, and dry goods costs through proper requisition and waste control
- check_circleSupport opening and closing duties for both Front of House and Heart of House areas
- check_circleLead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage, inventory, and preparation
- check_circleOversee cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policies
- check_circleTrain staff on cooking methods, plate presentation, portion control, and cost management
- check_circleEnsure all equipment is maintained in excellent working condition through inspections and preventative plans
Requirements
