This position serves as the foundation of our turkey production line, ensuring that whole turkeys, parts, and ready-to-cook or ready-to-eat products are processed with precision and care. You will be the first line of defense in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, performing essential manual and machine-assisted tasks to prepare meat for secondary processing.
While the work is repetitive by nature, it requires focus and dedication. You will utilize tools such as knives, scissors, and vibrating instruments to process meat, while simultaneously inspecting birds to guarantee maximum quality and food safety. Your role is critical in upholding our commitment to product safety and defense within the facility.
You will be working directly inside a food processing plant, a dynamic environment that includes storage coolers and areas with high noise levels. The role demands physical stamina, as you may be required to stand for extended periods, work in wet conditions, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Personal protective equipment is mandatory to ensure your safety while operating near processing plant equipment.
