About the Role
The Foods Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting and interacting with them in a positive and friendly manner. This role involves more than just seating; you will guide guests through their dining experience, assist with to-go orders, and provide essential information regarding directions, entertainment, and show event schedules. Your goal is to ensure excellent Guest and Cast service by handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Whether you are welcoming guests, managing the flow of the dining area, or ensuring food presentation meets our high quality standards, your enthusiasm and attention to detail help create a magical experience.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleGreet guests and interact with them in a positive and friendly manner

- check_circleAssemble food orders according to recipe guidelines
- check_circleReplenish food and serving items as necessary
- check_circleSeat guests and assign tables according to availability
- check_circleSuggest additional menu items to guests as appropriate
- check_circleTake guest orders, enter them into the POS system, and verify accuracy
- check_circleProcess guest payments and handle cash transactions
- check_circleOperate equipment and work near heat-generating machinery
- check_circleMaintain work areas by restocking and cleaning regularly
- check_circleEnsure food presentation meets quality and freshness standards
- check_circleMonitor freezer temperatures and maintain safety guidelines
Requirements
- verifiedMust be at least 18 years old
- verifiedMust Meet state requirements to obtain Hawaii Liquor Commission Card
- verifiedCash handling capabilities
- verifiedStrong verbal communication skills
- verifiedAbility to work outdoors in inclement weather
- verifiedFull availability for any shift, seven days per week
- verifiedPrevious fine dining restaurant experience preferred
- verifiedKnowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language preferred
Nice to Have
Previous fine dining restaurant experience; understanding of full service environment, managing reservation waitlist. Previous fine dining/table service experience. Previous Leadership experience of office management skills. Knowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language. Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
