We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Advanced Engineer to support growth in the Hazardous Location and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) markets. This role is designed to drive new opportunities, strengthen customer engagement, and support product certification initiatives across the Americas.
In this position, you will act as a bridge between technical certification requirements and clear customer value propositions. You will identify and qualify opportunities in targeted industries, develop annual business plans, and maintain working relationships with customers and member companies. A key part of your day will involve translating complex market trends and regulatory landscapes into actionable insights for both internal and external audiences. You will also travel overnight to customers, events, and trade shows to foster these connections.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a standard interview process including an initial screening, technical and business development discussions, and a final team fit assessment.
