About the Role

As a Floor Tech, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors within a long-term care facility. This position is essential for creating a clean and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. You will perform daily floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices. Your work ensures a sanitary environment by operating floor care equipment safely and following infection control and universal precautions policies.

Beyond technical duties, you will interact positively with everyone in the building, providing excellent customer service. You will also maintain records of your activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor. This role requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
