Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health is a community-based, patient-centered healthcare delivery system dedicated to promoting quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choice for frail seniors. Since 1987, we have served the elderly population of El Paso, Texas, through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). PACE is a unique managed care benefit for seniors aged 55 and older who require nursing home-level care. Our mission is to coordinate comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.
As a Daycare Personal Care Attendant (PCA), you will be the heart of our Adult Day Care center, directly serving participants who need cognitive and physical assistance. Your role is vital in facilitating independence, communication, and self-esteem through diverse daily activities. You will perform personal care tasks, assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and provide cognitive interventions tailored to each participant's Plan of Care.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of supportive care and engagement. You will assist with bathing, toileting, transfers, dressing, grooming, and feeding, while also monitoring vital signs and weights. Beyond physical care, you will foster a nurturing environment by leading or assisting with arts and crafts, social activities, exercises, and entertainment. You will ensure the day health center remains neat, safe, and orderly, managing supplies and cleaning equipment. A key part of your day includes safely escorting participants on and off our vans and providing the reassurance and encouragement needed to help them maximize their involvement in the program.
