This position is dedicated to providing routine daily nursing care and services to residents, ensuring their well-being in strict accordance with their individual assessments and care plans. The role serves as a vital link in the care continuum, requiring a compassionate approach to support residents through every aspect of their daily lives, from admission to discharge.
You will be responsible for creating an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity throughout the unit. Your day-to-day involves more than just clinical tasks; it is about greeting residents, introducing them to their new environment, and ensuring they feel comfortable and respected. Whether assisting with daily functions like bathing and dressing, monitoring vital signs, or simply ensuring a resident's water pitcher is filled, your presence contributes to a calm and supportive environment.
Candidates must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in accordance with state laws. A high school education (10th grade) is required, along with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and technical procedures. CPR certification is preferred.
