About the Role
This position is dedicated to providing routine daily nursing care and services to residents, ensuring their well-being in strict accordance with their individual assessments and care plans. The role serves as a vital link in the care continuum, requiring a compassionate approach to support residents through every aspect of their daily lives, from admission to discharge.
You will be responsible for creating an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity throughout the unit. Your day-to-day involves more than just clinical tasks; it is about greeting residents, introducing them to their new environment, and ensuring they feel comfortable and respected. Whether assisting with daily functions like bathing and dressing, monitoring vital signs, or simply ensuring a resident's water pitcher is filled, your presence contributes to a calm and supportive environment.
Hiring Process & Application
Candidates must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in accordance with state laws. A high school education (10th grade) is required, along with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and technical procedures. CPR certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRecord resident data on flow sheets, charts, and notes in an informative and descriptive manner
- check_circleMaintain resident confidentiality and report any suspected violations of protected health information
- check_circleAssist residents with eating by identifying food arrangements and recording fluid intake
- check_circlePerform restorative and rehabilitative procedures and assist with lifting and positioning residents
- check_circleObserve and report skin breakdowns, pressure areas, and injuries to prevent bedsores
- check_circleAdminister routine daily nursing care and services according to resident care plans
- check_circleIdentify residents using wristbands or photo cards before administering treatments or meals
- check_circleMeasure and record vital signs such as temperatures, pulses, and respirations as instructed
- check_circleTransport residents to new rooms, medical tests, or vehicles and assist with loading and unloading
- check_circleReport changes in resident condition, accidents, incidents, and grievances to supervisors promptly
- check_circleEnsure resident rooms are prepared and maintain a calm, positive environment on the unit
- check_circleAssist residents with daily functions including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral care
