About the Role
Floor Staff are the face of Regal, dedicated to ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. Whether working at the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher, team members act as representatives of the company, embodying our mission through consistent attendance, emergency response, general cleaning, and adherence to our dress code.
Day in the Life
Your day will vary based on theatre needs and your specific assignment:
- Box Office: You will operate the POS system, manage cash drawers and payments, and promote premium viewing experiences like 3D, RPX, and IMAX. A key part of your role is upholding the MPAA rating system while answering guest questions with our signature guest service philosophy.
- Concession: You will prepare and clean equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all food safety laws. You will also promote the Regal Crown Club program and, where applicable, handle alcohol sales with the required certifications.
- Usher: You will guide patrons to their seats, manage crowd control, and enforce rating policies. Your responsibilities include monitoring auditorium safety and quality, conducting in-theatre inspections, and maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms, lobbies, and hallways.
Qualifications & Training
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, the ability to listen effectively, and the capacity to perform calculations with speed and accuracy. You should be able to identify problems, gather data, and make decisions under pressure.
Successful candidates will complete the cast certification program. If your role involves alcohol service, you are responsible for obtaining all legally required state or local training and completing the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle items frequently. You may occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The role may involve lifting up to 60 pounds and requires clear vision for close, distance, and peripheral tasks.
