About the Role
The Floor Staff team is the heartbeat of the Regal experience, dedicated to ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. Classified based on individual theatre needs and employee availability, team members may work as variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly employees. Whether stationed at the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher, you serve as a representative of Regal, acting in a manner consistent with our mission statement and policies.
Your day-to-day impact involves creating a welcoming environment while managing critical operational tasks. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling inquiries with clarity and professionalism. From operating POS systems and managing cash drawers to up-selling premium viewing experiences and promoting the Regal Crown Club, your role directly contributes to the theatre's success. As an Usher, you will guide patrons to their seats, maintain auditorium safety and cleanliness, and monitor the quality of the film experience.
Qualifications & Culture
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, the ability to listen effectively, and the capacity to perform calculations with speed and accuracy. You should be able to identify problems, gather relevant data, and reach conclusions based on evidence, even when performing under pressure. A commitment to regular and consistent attendance is essential, as is the ability to handle emergency situations when called upon.
We require all team members to comply with company dress codes and local, state, and federal laws, including food safety regulations and alcohol service laws where applicable. Completion of the cast certification program is required, along with specific training for box office cashiers or responsible beverage service if your duties involve those areas.
