About FlightSafety International

FlightSafety International is the world's premier professional aviation training company, supplying flight simulators, visual systems, and displays to commercial, government, and military organizations. We provide training for pilots, technicians, and other aviation professionals from 167 countries and independent territories. Operating the world's largest fleet of advanced full-flight simulators, we deliver award-winning maintenance training at Learning Centers and training locations across the United States, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom.

Purpose of Position

The Flight Instructor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction, ensuring all training aligns with strict aviation regulations and FlightSafety's core training principles. This position exists to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, guiding pilots through complex scenarios to ensure they achieve their operational objectives safely and effectively.

The Role in Context

As a Flight Instructor, you will be the primary point of contact for clients receiving core, specialty, or enrichment training courses. Your day involves developing and preparing tailored training materials to meet specific client needs while evaluating trainee progress to recommend qualification or additional training. You will maintain accurate training records that directly aid clients in achieving their goals and proactively identify training issues to seek assistance before execution. Success in this role requires maintaining your own instructor qualifications in accordance with all regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Equal Opportunity & Compliance

FlightSafety is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Vet/Disabled. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.

Please note that any offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of required compliance reviews, including verification that the candidate is not prohibited from employment under U.S. economic sanctions programs. This position may require access to export-controlled technology subject to ITAR and/or EAR regulations, requiring the applicant to qualify as a "U.S. Person" or be eligible for export authorization. Additionally, eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance may be required for the duration of employment.
