As a First Officer, you will join a team dedicated to the safe and efficient conduct of every flight. This position guarantees a minimum of seventy-two (72) flight hours per month and reports directly to the Chief Pilot. You will support the Captain in operating the aircraft, passengers, cargo, and crew, assuming command if necessary. The role requires upholding Eastern Air Express's values in a fast-paced operational environment while maintaining strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies.
To ensure operational readiness, you must live within two hours of either Miami International Airport or Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. The role involves extensive travel and requires a willingness to work schedules bid by seniority, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Successful candidates must complete pre-employment DOT drug testing, alcohol testing, and a criminal history records check (CHRC). If you are not selected for the next upcoming training class, your application will be kept on file for future class intakes, ensuring you are considered for upcoming training opportunities as they become available.
