The position offers a clear path for professional development. Captains can upgrade once they log 750 Piedmont flight hours and successfully bid for the position. Additionally, a flow-through program allows pilots to transition to American Airlines after five years of service, or they can choose to remain at Piedmont to earn top-of-scale pay.
