At Veyo, we help people get to and from their non-emergency medical appointments. We are dedicated to making healthcare accessible by connecting drivers with passengers in need of reliable transportation around Texas.
As a Non-Emergency Medical Driver, you will partner with Veyo to transport passengers to their healthcare appointments using your own vehicle. This role exists to ensure that individuals can reach vital medical services without the barrier of transportation. You will set your own schedule, choosing your own hours and controlling how much you drive, with most trips occurring between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM to avoid late-night hours.
The process is straightforward: open the Veyo Driver App and log on, accept a trip request, pick up the passenger at the specified location, and drop them off at their destination. You will repeat this cycle to complete your shifts.
To apply, candidates must meet specific requirements including being at least 21 years old, having a valid Texas driver's license and vehicle registration, and owning a 4-door vehicle from 2006 or newer. Applicants must also pass a background check and drug screening. Those in Houston specifically must hold certification from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Reporting Suspected Abuse or Neglect of a Child.
Veyo is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
