As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will serve as the bridge between our highly skilled diesel technicians and our customers. This role is designed for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills who want to grow into a leadership position without needing to be a mechanic themselves. You will engage your team to maintain high morale while ensuring customers receive top-tier service.
Your day will involve coordinating, scheduling, and auditing vehicle maintenance repairs—including preventative, mechanical, and electrical work on tractors, trucks, and trailers. You will be responsible for the hiring, training, and ongoing development of technicians to ensure the workforce meets customer expectations. Additionally, you will prioritize work assignments, control costs, and manage facility safety to ensure a clean and compliant working environment.
This is a full-time position working Tuesday through Saturday on the first shift. All new Maintenance Supervisors are enrolled in a comprehensive training program covering vehicle componentry, maintenance technology, service department management, and effective leadership strategies.
Candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. This position is safety-sensitive and regulated by the Department of Transportation; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness is required.

3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience, Associates or Tech School degree, Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web based applications.
Skills: Fleet Vehicle Maintenance, Team Management, Microsoft Office, Dot, Osha.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Tech School degree preferred.
