About the Role
MV Transportation, Inc., a leader in providing public transportation services, is seeking a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee and enhance the maintenance operations of our diverse fleet. This position is critical in ensuring the reliability and safety of our services, fulfilling our commitment to delivering efficient transportation solutions.
The ideal candidate will lead the daily operations of the fleet maintenance department, managing staff, scheduling, and workflow organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance procedures and performance metrics to ensure service efficiency and reliability. Beyond technical oversight, you will manage budgets, including forecasting and tracking maintenance costs to ensure cost-effective practices, while coordinating with other departments to optimize fleet performance and integrate new vehicles and technologies.
In this role, you will lead, recruit, and train maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence. You will ensure compliance with all transportation safety and regulation standards and regularly report on maintenance operations and improvements to senior management.
