About the Role

As a CDL-A Regional Flatbed Driver for Division 290, based out of our Kansas City, MO terminal, you will operate modern flatbed trucks on regional routes. This role is designed for drivers who want to be part of a team that values safety and reliability. You will be responsible for transporting critical materials, which includes tarping loads approximately 70% of the time; drivers must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice.

Our fleet consists of the newest flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge technologies for your comfort and safety. Every tractor is meticulously maintained and features lane departure and forward collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. If a truck requires repairs, it will not return to service until it is 100% ready, ensuring you are always driving a safe vehicle.

Day in the Life

You will enjoy a schedule that offers home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. To support your transition, we offer a $1,800 transition package, with $1,000 specifically allotted for orientation during your first two weeks so you can focus on driving while we handle the rest. Drivers also have access to our award-winning Driver Portal app, providing real-time updates, pay access, trip data, and 24/7/365 road service support.

While we do not allow pets, we do permit riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving. We are currently accepting applications from experienced drivers as well as recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026, offering a unique opportunity to start your career with us.

Hiring Process

To join our team, qualified applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and have a safe driving record. The process includes a background check, a clean drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse result. For flatbed opportunities, candidates must pass a physical test demonstrating the ability to lift a 90-pound tarp. We also require no more than six jobs in the last three years.
