About the Role

As a CDL-A Regional Flatbed Driver for Division 290 based in Kansas City, MO, you will operate flatbed trucks on regional routes across the western region of America. This role is designed for experienced drivers, though we are offering a special opportunity through May 31, 2026, for recent CDL-A graduates to start their careers with us.

You will be part of a team that values "America Proud, Flatbed Strong." The work involves loading and securing cargo, which requires the physical ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, as flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of our loads. You will drive meticulously maintained, modern trucks equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, including lane departure warnings, forward collision systems, and satellite communication devices.

We understand that changing jobs is never easy, which is why we offer a transition package that includes orientation pay to help you focus on driving while we handle the rest. Additionally, we offer a guest rider policy allowing riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving (note: pets are not permitted).

Hiring Process and Application

To join our team, you must meet specific hiring qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, being at least 21 years old, and maintaining a safe driving record. All applicants must pass a background check, a clean drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse result. For flatbed opportunities, you must also pass a physical test for tarping.
