About the Role
We are seeking experienced CDL-A Flatbed Truck Drivers for our Division 265 terminal in Ennis, TX. This role involves Over-The-Road (OTR) routes in the western region of America. As a driver, you will operate modern, meticulously maintained flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, including lane departure warnings, forward collision systems, and satellite communication devices.
A key aspect of this position is the physical nature of flatbed hauling; drivers are expected to tarp approximately 70% of loads, which requires the ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. You will be supported by a 24/7/365 road service staff and an award-winning driver portal app that provides real-time updates, pay access, and trip data.
Home Time & Culture
This opportunity offers a schedule of 3 weeks out with 3 days off. While System Transport offers various route options, this specific role is tailored for Division 265. We value our drivers' well-being and safety above all else, ensuring that no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road. Our culture supports riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving, though pets are not permitted.
Hiring Process & Application
To join our team, candidates must meet specific qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, a minimum age of 21, a safe driving record, and at least 4 months of driving experience. A background check, clean drug test, and clean Clearinghouse result are required. Additionally, candidates must pass a physical test for tarping during orientation.
We understand that changing jobs is difficult, which is why we offer a $1,800 transition package to support your first two weeks of orientation. Interested drivers can call 1-866-725-5083 to discuss the pay package and route details. Applications are accepted until the deadline of May 31, 2026.
