System Transport has been hauling what builds America since 1972. We combine the resources of a large company with the personal feel of a small business, serving as a home for drivers who want to keep the country running. Our mission is to transport critical goods and materials—including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals—while maintaining a culture of "America Proud, Flatbed Strong."
We are seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for our Division 200 terminal in Spokane, WA. This role involves Over-The-Road (OTR) routes where you will be responsible for securing and transporting heavy loads. A key aspect of this position is the physical requirement to tarp approximately 70% of our loads; drivers must be physically capable of lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, a skill tested during orientation.
You will drive a fleet of modern, meticulously maintained flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, including lane departure warnings, forward-collision warning systems, and hard brake monitoring. Our commitment to safety ensures that no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road. Drivers also have access to a 24/7/365 road service staff and an award-winning driver portal app for real-time updates, pay access, and trip data.
This opportunity offers a schedule of 3 weeks out followed by 3 days off. We support your transition with a $1,800 package, including $1,000 for orientation pay during your first two weeks so you can focus on driving. While we do not allow pets, we do permit riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving. Our team is supported by 24/7 driver portal support and a dedicated road service network.
To join our team, applicants must meet specific qualifications, including a valid Class A CDL, being at least 21 years old, and maintaining a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years. A background check, clean drug test, and clean Clearinghouse result are required. Candidates must also demonstrate the physical ability to handle flatbed tarping duties.
Interested drivers should speak with a recruiter to determine the best route fit and complete the application process before the deadline of June 30, 2026.
System Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fair pay and equal opportunity for all employees. We prioritize your safety and comfort, ensuring you have the best tools and support available. We believe in investing in our drivers through competitive pay packages, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive community that values your contribution to building America.
