About the Role
We are seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional routes in the western region of America, based out of our Kansas City, MO terminal (Division 290). As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting heavy and specialized cargo, which includes tarping approximately 70% of loads. This role requires the physical ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, a task that will be tested during orientation.
Our fleet consists of the newest flatbed trucks, meticulously maintained and equipped with cutting-edge technologies such as lane departure warnings, forward collision warning systems, and hard brake monitoring. We support our drivers with 24/7/365 road service and an award-winning driver portal app that provides real-time updates, pay access, and trip data.
For a limited time through May 31, 2026, we are also accepting applications from recent CDL-A graduates. Qualified new drivers can join our team to start their careers with us, supported by a transition package that includes orientation pay to help you focus on driving while we handle the rest.
Hiring Process & Application
To join our team, applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and have a safe driving record. While we prefer one year of truck driving experience, recent graduates are welcome to apply during our special hiring period. All candidates must pass a background check, a clean drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse result. Additionally, candidates must not have held more than six jobs in the last three years.
