This position serves as a key component of the Financial Services program within the Director's Office Division. The program provides centralized budget, accounting, payroll, and benefits support to ensure the agency's operations run smoothly and in compliance with state and federal guidelines. As a Fiscal Analyst 5, you will provide direct support to the agency's financial operations, offering general governmental accounting expertise and policy compliance guidance. Your work ensures that cash receipting, accounts receivable, federal cooperative agreements, interagency agreements, and travel reimbursement operations meet all necessary requirements. You will act as a liaison for implementing new accounting systems and processes, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Budget Manager to identify efficiencies and maintain accurate accounting records.

Two (2) years of experience working with AFRS, Financial Toolbox, Enterprise Reporting System, and Microsoft Great Plains (GP). Knowledge of Statewide Administrative & Accounting Manual (SAAM). Demonstrated intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills. Experience in developing policies/procedures and developing and providing training for staff. Ability to analyze complex RCWs, WACs, OFM Directives and GASB updates as related to accounts receivable and travel reimbursement activities. Knowledge of OFM travel rules OR Accounts Receivable (AR) experience.
