About the Role
We are urgently seeking NICET II (or higher) licensed Fire Sprinkler Technicians to primarily cover the Bozeman, MT area and surrounding regions, with occasional travel across Montana. You will join a large, multi-branch life and fire safety organization that heavily invests in its employees, supporting both leadership development and personal growth.
In this role, you will troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of water and air-based fire sprinkler and control systems, valves, pipelines, fire pumps, and related equipment. Your work will span both retrofitted and new construction commercial and industrial settings, ensuring critical safety systems remain operational and compliant.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position offers stable, year-round work with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime is available after 40 hours, and on-call duties rotate on a one-week basis every three months. For technicians not based locally in the Bozeman area, a 4x10 day schedule (Monday–Thursday) is utilized. Schedules are provided 2–6 weeks in advance to ensure work-life balance.
Hiring Process & Application
To be considered, candidates must hold a valid NICET II certification (or higher), possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Applicants must be able to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, submittals, schematics, and operational manuals. All successful hires must pass a pre-employment background check, including drug, criminal, and motor vehicle record screenings.
