About the Role

The Fire Protection Sprinkler Foreman serves as a vital link between management and the field, responsible for the day-to-day activities of assigned personnel on the assembly, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures for fire protection sprinkler systems. This is a hybrid role that combines supervisory leadership with hands-on craftsmanship. As a working foreman, you will directly perform a wide range of skilled construction tasks while guiding crews to meet project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

In this position, you will interpret blueprints and architectural drawings to plan work efficiently, ensuring the optimal use of manpower and resources. You will be responsible for installing wet, CPVC, and steel systems in commercial and industrial buildings, inspecting work in progress to ensure conformance to contracts and specifications, and maintaining accurate documentation. Your leadership will be essential in training crew members, enforcing safety regulations, and fostering a positive team environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and the highest standards of quality.

Work Environment

This role requires adaptability to a dynamic construction environment. You may work in varying temperatures, both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampness. The work may involve exposure to moderate to high noise levels, fumes, or airborne particles, and may require working in confined spaces or at heights. Physically, the role involves the routine use of heavy machinery, hand and power tools, and the ability to work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs.
