At Atlantic Constructors (ACI), we build our company and culture not by counting people, but by making our people count! Recognized as an industry leader in the Mid-Atlantic Region for over 50 years, we are dedicated to providing our employees and their families with resources to support their health, well-being, and happiness.
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and career-minded Fire Protection Designer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will design fire protection sprinkler systems for a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects. You will interpret architectural drawings to develop complete submittal packages in accordance with contract documents, building codes, and NFPA Standards. Your work will involve performing hydraulic calculations, participating in BIM 3D modeling coordination, and conducting field surveys prior to fabrication. You will also assist field personnel in resolving design-related installation issues and apply sound engineering principles to troubleshoot client concerns.
This is a full-time, fully remote position. While our offices are located in Richmond, VA, we are offering this role remotely to skilled candidates with great experience designing Commercial Fire Suppression Sprinkler systems.
