About the Role
As the Fire Protection Engineer, you will provide critical engineering expertise in support of facilities, infrastructure, and mission-critical operations within the Intelligence Community. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with applicable fire and life safety codes, standards, and agency-specific requirements to protect personnel, assets, and continuity of operations in secure environments.
In this position, you will serve as a technical authority, applying engineering judgment to guide project teams, facility managers, and leadership. Your day-to-day involves designing and evaluating fire protection systems, performing hazard analyses, and conducting field inspections to ensure the highest standards of safety. You will coordinate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to review construction documents and support emergency planning initiatives. This role demands a deep understanding of high-reliability operations and the ability to navigate complex, secure facilities.
Hiring Process
