Join Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, and become part of a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are committed to making a meaningful impact on our communities and the world through the projects we help bring to life.
As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader within our firm, driving project execution for a diverse portfolio of multi- and single-discipline facility design projects. This role is pivotal in shaping the safety and functionality of commercial and government facilities, ranging from small-scale initiatives to large, complex builds.
You will operate at the intersection of design, management, and mentorship. Your day-to-day involves leading multi-discipline teams of architects, engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects to deliver code-compliant, high-quality fire protection systems. Beyond technical design, you will guide the project lifecycle from conceptual studies and scope validation through construction documents, bidding, and the construction phase. You will also play a key role in the professional growth of the firm by directing, supervising, and mentoring junior staff and EITs, ensuring the next generation of engineers thrives.
Qualified candidates will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal law.
At JMT, we prioritize a healthy work/life balance. We offer a flexible hybrid working schedule, with the expectation that team members work from a JMT office location at least three days per week to foster collaboration. Our office environment is designed to be comfortable, well-lit, and free from hazards, with reasonable accommodations available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
