The Fire Life Safety Sales Executive is a pivotal member of our Service Department Team, dedicated to prospecting and developing new customers while driving growth through upselling and multi-line service expansion. This role focuses on negotiating pricing for inspection contracts and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through close collaboration with Regional Sales Managers, Service Managers, and Operations Staff.
You will act as the bridge between our technical capabilities and market opportunities, transforming construction installation clients into long-term service partners. Success in this position is built on generating consistent activity, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and leveraging deep knowledge of local fire code requirements to identify conversion opportunities.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of field engagement and strategic planning. You will proactively engage in sales calls, ranging from "door-to-door" cold calling to building vertical target lists for your assigned territory. A significant portion of your time will be spent expanding relationships with existing customers by introducing new service offerings.
You will manage the full sales cycle, from recording prospect details in our tracking systems to following up on pending proposals to accelerate awards. This involves explaining scope, answering technical questions, and conveying the value of our ITM agreements. You will also represent the organization at industry meetings, such as Building Owners Management Association (BOMA) events, and participate in customer visits and entertainment, which may occasionally occur outside normal business hours.
To stay ahead of the curve, you will continuously advance your industry technical knowledge through internal training, riding along with field personnel, and reviewing technical materials. You will work directly with Branch and Regional Managers to assess customer relationships and profitability, ensuring our service offerings remain competitive and aligned with market needs.
