We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our Federal Systems team in Schenectady, NY. In this onsite role, you will be an integral part of maintaining the safety and security of critical federal infrastructure. You will work under direct supervision to complete programming, commissioning, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with contract obligations.
Your day will involve assisting experienced personnel with complex system solutions, requiring a solid understanding of core and third-party fire products, software, and systems electrical technology. You will conduct testing to ensure proper equipment operation after installation or repairs and maintain accurate as-built documentation. A key part of your success will be your ability to communicate effectively with customers upon arrival and departure, proactively understanding their needs and current systems.
