About the Role
The Financial Systems Manager serves as the strategic backbone of the organization's financial operations, overseeing the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of all financial systems. This position is critical for ensuring that data flows accurately from transaction to report, enabling leadership to make informed decisions. Beyond daily administration, the role acts as the primary architect for the organization's ongoing ERP conversion, driving the migration to a modern financial platform while maintaining rigorous internal controls.
In this capacity, you will bridge the gap between finance and technology. You will manage the configuration and maintenance of financial systems, ensuring the chart of accounts aligns with organizational structures and reporting needs. Your day-to-day involves developing dynamic dashboards for leadership, supporting the annual budgeting process, and coordinating complex audit data requests. You will also lead cross-functional efforts to streamline workflows, train users on new functionalities, and document standard operating procedures to ensure long-term system adoption.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage configuration, maintenance, user access, and internal controls for all financial systems
- check_circleServe as primary liaison with IT and external vendors for troubleshooting and system upgrades
- check_circleMaintain and update the chart of accounts to support organizational structure and compliance
- check_circleDevelop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for leadership
- check_circleSupport annual budgeting by building templates, managing data inputs, and consolidating submissions
- check_circleCoordinate system-generated audit requests, data pulls, and documentation for audit readiness
- check_circleLead ERP conversion projects including requirements gathering, testing, and go-live support
- check_circleProvide technical support, training, and workflow optimization for the Finance team
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- verifiedMinimum 5 years of experience in financial systems management, accounting operations, or ERP administration
- verifiedExperience with ERP and accounting platforms such as Great Plains, Workday, NetSuite, Dynamics, Oracle, or similar
- verifiedStrong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
- verifiedProficiency with reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, ERP‑native reporting tools)
- verifiedExperience leading an ERP implementation or major system upgrade
