At Bank of America, we are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection. We drive Responsible Growth by delivering for our clients, teammates, communities, and shareholders every day. Being a Great Place to Work is core to this mission, encompassing our commitment to an inclusive workplace, attracting exceptional talent, and supporting the physical, emotional, and financial wellness of our teammates.
We are committed to an in-office culture that allows for an appropriate level of flexibility based on role-specific considerations. Here, you can build a successful career with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact.
As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses. You will receive dedicated, personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will master the foundational skills of an advisor, from acquiring and managing client relationships to guiding clients through complex financial pictures with humanized interactions.
Upon reaching key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America's core banking and investment solutions. If offered a position, you will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until a location within a reasonable commuting distance of your home is determined.
Success as a Stage I Advisor typically leads to progression into the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II role, where you will deepen relationships within a client portfolio. The Academy supports your career journey with dedicated programs, tools, and resources, offering opportunities to advance in many roles within Bank of America and Merrill.
