As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses. You will receive dedicated, personalized classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn the foundational skills needed to be an advisor, from acquiring and managing client relationships to guiding clients with advice and solutions that help them live their best financial lives.
After reaching key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and approach to client care. The Academy will equip you with everything you need as you move through the stages of development.
Upon demonstrating success as a licensed FSA I, you will typically progress into the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II role. Here, you will continue to practice your skills by growing and deepening relationships within a portfolio of clients. As a successful Stage II advisor, you will have the opportunity to advance in many roles within Bank of America and Merrill, supported by dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.
