This position is open for the entire market, with the specific Financial Center location determined by business needs. If offered a position, you will train at one financial center and may begin in a phone-based capacity until a location within a reasonable commuting distance of your home is determined.
As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses. You will receive dedicated, personalized classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will master foundational skills in acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, guiding clients through their complex financial pictures to help them live their best financial lives.
Upon reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center delivering Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and client care approach. After demonstrating success as a Stage I advisor, you will typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients. Successful advisors have the opportunity to advance into many roles within Bank of America and Merrill, supported by the Academy's dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout their career journey.
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and submit to the necessary background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.
