Year Up United is an intensive, one-year job training program designed to bridge the gap between young adults and the professional world. Through a unique blend of in-classroom skill development, access to internships, and personalized coaching, we empower participants to launch successful careers across four distinct pathways.
If you are passionate about building relationships, interested in organizational processes, and excited to use data to drive business outcomes, the Business pathway is your opportunity to thrive. This track combines rigorous technical and professional training in Business Operations, Financial Operations, and Project Management.
Participants gain access to industry-leading internship opportunities and job placement support through YUPRO Placement. Past interns have secured positions at leading organizations such as Bank of America, Merck, Amazon, and LinkedIn within the Greater Boston area.
Throughout the program, you will develop essential skills in customer communications, team-based project coordination, and comprehensive finance training. You will also receive dedicated support in professional business communication, interviewing, networking, and resume building to help you launch your career.
During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week. The program is designed to open doors to diverse career growth paths, including:
Year Up United is committed to delivering real results. Seventy-two percent of our graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation. Furthermore, employed graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
To apply, you must be a high school graduate or GED recipient, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Candidates should be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills and must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
