The Associate Manager, Label Marketing & Accounting Administration role sits at the intersection of finance and creative operations within the East Coast Label Group. This position is dedicated to supporting five distinct labels, ensuring that financial planning and analysis align seamlessly with the company's entertainment mission. The team operates in a high-energy environment where precision in budgeting meets the dynamic pace of the music industry.
This position is designed to streamline the marketing project administration cycle, acting as a critical bridge between the VP of Label Operations, the Finance team, and various creative stakeholders. In this capacity, you will partner closely with senior leadership, including the Managing Director and SVP Marketing, to develop and manage marketing budgets. Your work will provide senior management with clear analysis of marketing investments by expense type, vendor, project, and artist. Beyond financial controls, you will manage project deadlines across Marketing, Finance, Legal, and external vendors, ensuring compliance protocols are met and deliverables are communicated clearly.
The day-to-day rhythm includes facilitating travel for artists, organizing music listening sessions, and distributing meeting minutes. You will also drive ad hoc projects, creating one-sheets, timelines, and quote sheets while continuously improving internal processes to enhance the efficiency of the Project Manager function. Success in this role requires the ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced setting, working under pressure to keep operations running smoothly.
Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate strong project management skills, financial acumen, and proficiency with tools such as Excel, Uniport/SAP, Monday, and PowerPoint. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who are extremely organized, process-oriented, and capable of thriving in a high-speed entertainment business environment.
