About the Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a Financial Analyst for a top global manufacturing client headquartered in Connecticut. This is an entry-level, high-visibility opportunity designed to support corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. The role offers a unique chance to assist with SEC reporting, GAAP compliance, financial statement analysis, and internal controls while gaining exposure to complex accounting areas such as leases, impairment analysis, and global operations.

This position is ideal for a junior accountant or Big 4 associate looking to transition into industry. You will grow within a stable, Fortune 500 environment characterized by strong mentorship and long-term career potential.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will be an integral part of the finance team, supporting critical processes that drive the company's financial integrity. Your daily activities will include supporting SEC reporting processes for Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, as well as assisting with GAAP-based accounting and financial statement preparation. You will actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, performing financial analysis of key accounts and operational results.

Beyond standard reporting, you will support lease accounting processes, disclosures, and database maintenance, while also assisting with internal control documentation and testing. The role also involves contributing to special projects, system enhancements, and reporting improvements, ensuring you stay engaged with the evolving needs of the business.
