This is an in-house, on-campus position exclusively open to current permanent and temporary Coast Community College District (CCCD) employees. The Financial Aid Compliance Specialist serves as a subject matter expert, interpreting and analyzing local, state, and federal financial aid regulations to ensure the college's adherence to all compliance standards.
In this role, you will coordinate financial aid awards to verify student eligibility and perform complex analyses of verification processes, including R2T4 calculations and post-withdrawal disbursements. You will act as a key resource for the department, communicating policy changes to staff, resolving data integrity issues across systems, and serving as the primary contact for federal and state compliance audits. The position requires collaborating with management to develop processes that maintain the accuracy of reporting and ensure the college meets all regulatory timelines.
This recruitment is for a permanent, full-time, 40-hour per week, 12-month position.
