About Year Up United

Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults with the skills and support needed to launch successful careers. The program combines in-classroom skill development with access to internships and personalized coaching and mentorship. Through our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement, participants gain access to opportunities at leading organizations such as Bank of America, Exelon Corporation, and JP Morgan Chase.

What You Will Gain

Participants develop professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking expertise, and resume-building capabilities. The curriculum includes in-depth classes in Customer Success, Data Analytics, and Investment Operations. During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.

The program is built on proven results: 72% of Year Up United graduates are employed and/or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation, with employed graduates earning an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.

Eligibility and Application

To apply, candidates must be high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Applicants must be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills and must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
