We are seeking a Finance Director to plan and organize the system of grants management and compliance for the Regional Council. This role is critical for ensuring the organization adheres to the standards of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Guidance, with a specific emphasis on administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements.
In this position, you will develop a sophisticated organizational finance strategy by interpreting complex guidelines and applying principles of accounting and budgeting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You will be responsible for preparing and presenting detailed fiscal reports to the Board of Delegates, governing bodies, and state and federal agencies. Beyond technical expertise, you will supervise the development of accounting systems and procedures while fostering teamwork and maintaining harmonious relationships with department heads, staff, member governments, and the public.
