Spotting a solution and fixing a problem is a tremendous technical skillset that requires diligence, determination, and a knack for knowledge. As a Field Service Technician II, you will join Canon USA, an innovator of technology, solutions, and services. This role is designed for individuals who strive for excellence in operational, maintenance, and networking support to help valued customers with the basic technical expertise of Canon-supported products.
You will be the face of Canon in the field, providing efficient, responsive, and accurate maintenance on-site. Your day will involve diagnosing mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures and servicing equipment to Canon standards. Beyond technical repairs, you will maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and provide direction to less experienced technicians. You will also be responsible for properly maintaining all technical information, Field Service Reports, and Expense Reports, while offering solutions for escalated technical and customer service-related problem areas.
This is a customer-facing role that requires strict compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include specific health and safety measures. You will work in a 24/7 environment, performing shift work and on-call rotations, and may need to obtain security clearances to enter customer premises.
