As a Field Service Representative, you will play an impactful role within our organization, collaborating with customers, team members, and third-party partners to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on both Company and third-party manufactured equipment. You will be a problem solver in a variety of dynamic environments, often working at customer sites with occasional nonstandard hours.
A typical day involves pre-site preparation, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications of equipment. You will solve problems alongside electricians, sales partners, technical support, and District Service teams, while completing essential field service reports and data sheets. You will also work with your Manager or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues and engage in continuous learning on various products both in the field and in the classroom.
On some days, your role may expand to include regional or countrywide travel for local customer support or larger system start-ups. You may assist senior technicians, support Project Management on higher complexity projects, and act on behalf of the District Service Manager to resolve operational issues. This is a site-based position with a 40-hour guarantee plus overtime, where most work occurs at customer sites.
To support your success, we provide direct product training and training on all digital and physical tools associated with your work. We supply service vehicles, tools, uniforms, mobile devices, and laptops for daily professional use. Within your first 180 days, you will experience a unique, team-oriented welcome with 8 weeks of in-person training at our state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, TX, with all expenses paid. Upon returning, you will continue with online training and be paired with a local area mentor for on-the-job training.
