The Metro Practice Development Manager serves as a strategic partner to high-value healthcare providers across the specialty industry, with a primary focus on the Philadelphia metro area, Northeast Maryland, and Southwest New Jersey. In this field-based role, you will drive the adoption of CareCredit by conducting in-person visits and building lasting relationships with physician offices and practice owners. Your mission is to support providers in managing patient financial needs while achieving credit utilization goals within your assigned territory.
You will own a defined book of mid-to-large practices, prioritizing accounts and developing practice-level strategies to scale enrollments. This position requires a blend of consultative sales expertise and deep industry knowledge to help providers identify growth opportunities and successfully implement action plans for increased usage of CareCredit's suite of financial products. As a key member of the regional team, you will lead sales strategies, manage territory budgets, and collaborate with industry experts to commercialize new Point of Sale initiatives.
At Synchrony, we are proud to offer flexibility in how you work. Our model allows you the option to work from home near one of our hubs or come into an office. However, as a field sales role, this position requires daily travel (up to 80%) within your territory, including overnight travel for industry trade shows and client meetings. We value a culture where individual skills and voices are heard and valued, ensuring that all qualified applicants receive consideration regardless of background.
To join our team, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The onboarding process includes a drug test, background investigation, and fingerprint submission to satisfy federal requirements. We encourage candidates to apply directly through our career portal. If you require a reasonable accommodation to apply for this job or to perform your duties, please contact our Career Support Line at 1-866-301-5627 (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm CST) to discuss your specific situation.
